ARDC Seeks New Venues as 2009 Schedule Grows
By Mark Kielblock
Felton, DE – While the 2009 ARDC schedule is a work in progress, the confirmed dates on the schedule offer an impressive mix of familiar stops and classic tracks. ARDC booking agents Lou Zrinski and Tracy Readinger also strongly encourage any promoters who have not yet joined the wingless revolution started in the mid – 2000’s to consider getting on board. The positive buzz created by ARDC's brand of side by side and 3 wide racing continues to reverberate around the racing community. Car counts near an average of 30, ten different winners and a point championship that went down to the final race with five drivers in the running were just some of the highlights of the 2008 season. “We  want promoters that we haven’t been in contact with to know that the schedule isn’t final yet and there is still room for tracks that want in for 2009,” Zrinski said. Lou Zrinski=2 0can be reached at 908-568-5424 and Tracy Readinger at 610-207-4393.
“We like the way the schedule is shaping up and although we’re not ready to release the final product yet we have some firm dates that we think are going to make the fans happy,” Readinger said.
To Central Pa. fans; want to see more of ARDC at some different tracks? You are in luck as the Club has booked three dates at the historic Williams Grove Speedway. The highly coveted return of ARDC to Lincoln Speedway has become reality with one show confirmed and an additional show possible.
Veteran midget fans; do you think that 1/3 mile high-banked Grandview Speedway is the ideal layout for the wingless cars? If so, get ready as you will see ARDC at Grandview a total of five times in 2009. They will be on the slate for three “Thunder on the Hill” shows, plus an additional two Saturday night appearances.
“We will be at Susquehanna Speedway Park for the season opener and closer, with other dates possible,” Readinger shared. “We will be at Big Diamond for their opener with hopefully more to come.”

Recently inked on Wednesday night, Aug. 28 at New Egypt Speedway, is a combination show with the modifieds. Dixieland, NC is alo on the 2009 slate.
Readinger had good news for fans who think that tight bullrings are the best place to see midget racing. “We have a show scheduled on the Bridgeport Speedway small track,” Readinger said.

Three tracks saw a sucessful return of ARDC in 2008 after many years and enjoyed great fan reception of the wingless midgets. Accord Speedway was one of the newcomers to the ARDC schedule in 2008 and will be back for one confirmed show in ’09, with an additional date still possible. Penn Can Speedway and Five Mile Point Speedways were popular additions to the ARDC tour last year and both will be back in ’09.
Even with this impressive slate of tracks, Zrinski and Readinger are still hard at work to add even more excitement to the=2 0ARDC schedule. Clinton County and Mercer Raceway Park with the USAC Sprints are still possibilities for the 2009 season.
ARDC will also be supporting the 34th EMMR/WGOT Convention at the Latimore Valley Fairgrounds with a full contingent of cars on August 14-16.
